Facebook's New Privacy Features Are a Definite Plus

It was only a matter of time.

Remember the article we published a few months ago detailing the agony a person had to endure just to customize privacy settings in Facebook? How about the follow-up article where we argued that the privacy features in Google+ beat Facebook's privacy features, hands down.

Apparently, Facebook agreed.

Within the next day or two, Facebook will move a handful of previously buried privacy features to the front end. The settings include the ability to decide who sees what on every single post and image...just like Google+.

Other features taken from Google+:

1. Tagged photos can be subjected to an approval process, meaning if you're tagged, you have to approve the tag before anyone sees it on your profile.

2. People will be able to see how their profile looks to others, meaning you can see how your profile looks to a perfect stranger, or to Friend X.

3. People can enter location information, tag people they're not friends with (subject to #1), and edit posts once they've been posted.
